Remote Web Developer ($50/hr)

Position: Remote Web Developer
Employment Type: Contract / Full-time Remote
Compensation: $50 per hour
Location: Remote (Candidates in North America Only)

About Us

We are a growing data and technology consultancy seeking a talented Web Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end and back-end development skills, experience building scalable applications, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.

• Implement modern UI/UX principles using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.

• Develop server-side applications and APIs with Node.js, Python, or PHP.

• Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server).

• Ensure website performance, security, and cross-platform optimization.

• Collaborate with designers, data engineers, and other developers on projects.

• Maintain documentation and follow version control best practices (Git).
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3+ years professional experience in full-stack web development.

• Strong knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.

• Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD workflows.
  

Certifications (Preferred/Required)

• Certified Web Developer (W3C or CIW Web Development Professional)

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate (or equivalent Azure/GCP certification)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

• Google Mobile Web Specialist Certification (preferred)

• Scrum/Agile Certification (CSM or equivalent) (preferred)
  

Applications & Tools Required

• Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue)

• Back-End: Node.js, Express, Django, or Laravel

• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

• Version Control: Git / GitHub / GitLab

• DevOps & Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Project Tools: Jira, Trello, Slack, MS Teams
  

Compensation & Benefits
